Hydro flask Review

Hydro flask Review

Hydro FlaskIt’s affectionately known as my wookie because I take it everywhere.  When I say everywhere, I mean everywhere.  This bottle has already been to 12 countries around the world.  It has spent hundreds of hours in airplanes, sometimes in the overhead, sometimes sitting with me.  This bottle has been on Safari in Africa and it froze solid in the baggage compartment of a private aircraft.  If was left in my car for a few days with juice in it that turned into some unspeakable fungi forest.  Just recently, I dropped it down approximately 40 concrete stairs at the subway station.  It bounced and clanged all the way to the bottom as I sat 3 steps from the top, watching my bottle run away from me.  On the second bounce, it hit perfectly and cracked the cap and then it continued to bounce without it’s cap all the way to the bottom.  Upon collecting my poor mistreated bottle, it was found to have a couple new dents and the opening was deformed in two spots.  I came home, put on a new cap and to my surprise, it still holds water perfectly.

I never thought I’d write a review about a product that is designed to simply hold liquid you might want to drink but this bottle has really outperformed my expectations.  My day generally starts by putting piping hot coffee in my Hydro Flask and then heading out the door for whatever adventure the day brings.  Sometime in the afternoon I rinse out the bottle and fill it with water which gets me through the next several hours.  Then when I get home I’ll fill it with whatever suits me that evening.  This bottle even serves as my glass at the dinner table.

I have not been paid for this review nor have I been given so much as a free replacement cap for my poor bottle.  You should get yourself one.
