Mounting a Camera to an Airplane – Update
Today Ken and I did another camera test using the Columbia 400. This time we mounted it near the tip of the wing pointing out, our intent was to determine if while flying formation we could get some good shots of the other airplane. Ken is editing the video now, we will see how it turns out. I am a little skeptical about its usability, I found it quite difficult to keep the wing steady enough for long enough. Tomorrow, I have a trip in the Phenom 100, I am going to mount a couple cameras in the cockpit for that trip. Hopefully I will get some good video, hopefully I will have a better landing than last time.
